Dr. Matt's Healing Practice

Ever since completing his studies at Palmer Chiropractic College, Dr. Matt has had a generous attitude towards chiropractic care.

Central to his practice is treating each patient as an individual with unique health concerns, and educating them based on their specific needs.

His main interest is to teach patients how to care for their bodies for a lifetime...so they are not in a doctor's office for a lifetime

Dr. Matt's Healing Philosophy

"What do we need for health?

First there's food-eating the proper nutrients is what fuels our bodies. Without the proper foods, our bodies will not work efficiently or effectively ...and health will decline.

Second, there's water. Did you know our bodies are about 55 to 70% water by weight? Women usually have just a little less water in their bodies than men while infants have just a slightly higher percentage.

Lean muscle is about 99% water by weight. Blood is 70% water. Bone is about 22% water. And fat tissue is about 10%. That means the overweight or obese person has a lower percentage of total body water, sometimes as low as 40% by weight.

I recommend that you drink one half you body weight in ounces per day. Let's say you weigh 180 pounds. That would mean you need to drink 90 ounces of water per day. This will vary due to weather altitude, exposure and energy expenditure.

A third component of health is oxygen. The stuff of life. Without it for 4-6 minutes your brain cells begin to die. Breath. Breathe deeply. Keep your brain and your body oxygenated.

And fourth, there are nerve impulses- your brain controls and coordinates every function in your body. Without the nerve impulses to your vital organs, it would be a matter of just minutes before tissue death would occur. Chiropractic helps insure that nerve impulses are smooth and steady."

Seeing Results...Every Time

Dr. Matt stays passionate about the work he does because, for the past 12 years, he's seen incredible healing results in his patients.

He has seen natural healing work where other systems have failed. He has seen chiropractic care perform wonders in relieving pain and increasing wellness.

His philosophy is that the power that made the body heals the body.

Your body has incredible power to heal, if you only allow it.

Dr. Matt has had incredible success with his patients. Some have come to him suffering from horrible pain and left an hour later, pain-free.

For others, the fight for wellness takes time - but chiropractic, exercises and massage ultimately pay off. For those patients who were in debilitating pain, this time and dedication has made all the difference

Health is happiness.
